Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and management of electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.
- Lead adverse news searches, analyze results, and manage name screening, ensuring appropriate escalation and follow-up actions.
- Monitor financial transactions and investigate customer activities to identify potential risks.
- Analyze transaction data and customer profiles to detect suspicious patterns, providing insights and recommendations to improve detection mechanisms.
- Manage updates to the Standard Operating Manual (SOP), prepare management information reports, and handle ad-hoc projects.
- Continuously enhance workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and guidelines, via updating SOPs and supervising team activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in transaction monitoring, CDD, or KYC within banking or financial institutions, currently in a leadership role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
- Self-motivated, capable of working independently, and open to challenges.
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
- Leadership experience preferred.
