From Compliance to Mainstream: What Six Years of Building Stablecoin Infrastructure Taught Us
As a pioneer of compliant stablecoin infrastructure in Hong Kong since 2020, we've watched the industry mature through multiple cycles. During the 12th Blockchain Global Summit, our CEO, Rita Liu, sat down with Jinse Finance(金色財經)to share her perspective on where digital payments are heading.

Three insights stood out:
- Regulatory convergence is inevitable — and not at odds with local characteristics. Finance regulation is territorial by nature, but blockchain is a global, distributed account system. The path forward is cross-regional dialogue and coordination, with each jurisdiction building on its own strengths.
- Stablecoins' real value is bringing funds on-chain. They act as the "cash and blood" of the digital economy, helping payment, clearing and settlement become more tightly connected — even simultaneous — across borders.
- Enterprise adoption will be progressive — but faster than expected. We've updated our timeline from 3-5 years to 2-4: stablecoins could soon be a normal part of corporate payment and treasury accounts. Businesses will start with payments, then extend into treasury management and trade finance.
At RD Technologies, we've evolved from a B2B stablecoin payment platform into OristaPay — a new-generation enterprise account for the Web3 and AI era, built to seamlessly connect fiat and crypto across collecting, paying, storing, remitting and managing.
