Completion of RD Wallet Account Upgrade
Dear Customer,
As of HKT 14:00 on 26 September 2025, the RD Wallet account and related system upgrade have been completed. The effective date (“New Account Effective Date”) of your new RD Wallet Account (“New Account”) and specific details had been communicated separately in our previous notifications to you. From the New Account Effective Date stated in our previous notifications, all incoming and outgoing payments are supported only via your New Account; the old RD Wallet account (the “Old Account”) has ceased processing any transactions.
How to view / locate your New Account details:
RD APP:Wallet / Add funds / Select a currency to add funds
Immediate checklist (please confirm all items are completed):
· Update ERP / AP / finance shared services / invoice templates / payment instruction templates with the New Account
· Notify all external payers (customers / affiliates / refund channels, etc.)
· Remove the Old Account from external or public documents (contract appendices, payment notices, website pages, QR codes, static PDFs, marketing materials)
Important – Payments sent to the Old Account:
· From (and including) the New Account Effective Date, payments to the Old Account will be rejected or returned by the clearing network
· Any bank fees or FX differences arising from returns are borne by the remitter
· Typical return timeframe: T+1 to T+5 business days (channel / intermediary / currency dependent)
· If a payer claims funds were sent but you have not received them, instruct them to submit a trace or recall request via their bank; we cannot accelerate processing on their behalf
Risks if not updated:
· Delayed fund availability causing cash forecasting variance
· Failed automation / reconciliation batches or increased retry costs
· Increased back-and-forth with misinformed payers, affecting confidence
· Slower receivables impacting working capital efficiency
Unchanged: Pricing, product features, user roles and permissions, balances at the cutover, and access to historical transaction and reconciliation data remain unchanged. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the current RD Wallet Terms and Conditions (available on the website or in the RD Wallet App under About Us).
